Our story
O'Hare's has been a local for Steveston for over 35 years.
Jack grew up in Warrenpoint, County Down, in Northern Ireland. He worked in hotels and restaurants in Ireland, spent two years in Switzerland, and came to Canada in 1967, where he worked his way up with CP Hotels. His dream was a pub of his own, with a bit of Ireland in Richmond.

- 1987Jack and Jane O'Hare open O'Hare's on Steveston Highway.
- 2003The liquor store opens next door.
- TodayJack's daughter Erinn and son-in-law Grant run the place.
